The Spelman College Jaguarettes are proud to announce UNLV Rebel Girls, 6× UDA College Nationals Champion, Genesis Scott as the 2026 Competitive Team Choreographer as we begin our journey toward the Universal Dance Alliance Nationals in 2027.
Genesis Scott arrives to the Jaguarettes with an extraordinary reputation as both a national champion performer and visionary choreographer, bringing with her a dynamic blend of technical excellence, competitive strategy, and artistic innovation. Her arrival marks an exciting new chapter for the Jaguarettes as we continue to elevate our presence within the collegiate competitive dance arena while proudly representing Spelman College.
A Champion’s Legacy
A Louisiana native, Genesis Scott is a nationally recognized educator and competitor with more than a decade of experience within the UDA competitive dance space.
During her collegiate career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she was a member of the renowned UNLV Rebel Girls program, competing at the highest level across multiple styles. In her final season, she served as team captain, helping lead the program to back-to-back national championships while solidifying her legacy as one of the most accomplished athletes in program history.
Her competitive résumé is nothing short of remarkable:
6× UDA College Nationals National Champion
3× ICU U.S. National Hip Hop Team Member
3× ICU Hip Hop World Champion (2022, 2023, 2025)
These accomplishments place Genesis among the elite performers in the international dance competition circuit.

Genesis’ performance career spans some of the largest stages in sports and entertainment. Her credits include:
Performer at the NFL Pro Bowl alongside Rae Sremmurd
Performer at BIG3 events
Member of the Las Vegas Aces Wild Card Crew, the entertainment team for the WNBA champions
Featured dancer in a 2025 music video with Coldplay
Her ability to move seamlessly between professional performance, competition, and commercial dance reflects the caliber of artistry she brings into every creative process.
A Visionary Creative Leader
Beyond the stage, Genesis has emerged as a powerful creative force in choreography and dancer development. She currently works as a choreographer with ProAction Dance, where she develops choreography and technical training for elite dance teams across the country.
Her teaching and industry credits also include:
Choreographer for National Champion Destrehan High School Dance Team
Professional Assistant and Emerging Faculty with Prodigy Dance Convention
Assisting internationally recognized choreographers such as Tricia Miranda and Cassie Bartho
Through these roles, Genesis has consistently demonstrated her commitment to mentorship, innovation, and the cultivation of the next generation of dance artists.
