A Bit About Me

I am a first generation college student committed to providing mentorship, guidance, and service! Rooted in my own experience, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to uplift, particularly to those of marginalized communities, by creating spaces of support and encouragement. I actively serve in organizations such as, the National Council of Negro Women, Spelman Student Success Program, Raising Expectations, Ballet & Books, and the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students Bridging Minds Initiative. All with the mission of promoting education and community support for youth and minorities.

Wow Woman!

I intend to pursue a degree in medicine and become a pediatrician. I aspire to have a practice centered on holistic health and wellness to promote advocacy for children who are minorities.

At Spelman, I have maintained Honor Roll recognition and membership within the National Society of Leadership and Success. After the fall 2025 semester, I am now classified as a third-year Senior.I have completed over 300 hours of community service between my local hometown hospital as a student volunteer and church as a ministry leader.

Last year, I was recognized for completion of the physician shadowing in Kaiser Permanente of Orange County, California. I have also completed research within Spelman’s Biology department to improve learning methods for introductory biology courses such as Bio 115.

This semester I will be traveling to FCAT in Ecuador over the spring break to study Tropical Ecology and Infectious Disease and presenting research during Research Day 2026. I am currently preparing to apply for master’s degree programs that intentionally bridge transition into medical school.
